This project is to ensure that all less fortunate children around Dagoretty. Kikuyu, Satellite and Kabiria whose parents might be poor or died due to HIV/AIDS pandemic are identified and brought to the school to be given the necessary care required. Some of the children stay with very poor relatives who have no proper sources of livelihood to sustain them with the added child in the family. We have trained field officers that are able to identify these children after some thorough interview. In most cases we do not encourage separating a child from the other family members but ensure that as we take care they are also in daily contact with these family members. This is done to encourage close family ties.
